Financial Awareness Course (Age 14-18): All 10 Sessions

This 10-session course helps students understand the real-life money decisions they will face as they become more independent. It covers earning, spending, budgeting, banking, borrowing, saving, bills, student finance, apprenticeships, employment, payslips, tax and National Insurance.

Students explore practical questions such as how much it costs to live independently, how different jobs affect income, how to manage regular payments, how borrowing works, and how to make informed choices about university, apprenticeships or work.

By the end of the course, students will have a stronger understanding of money, greater confidence in managing their finances, and a clearer sense of how financial decisions can affect their future lifestyle, independence and wellbeing.
