Session 10: Course Review and Future Money Skills

Money moves that last.

This final session consolidates learning and looks ahead. Students begin with a game reviewing key concepts from the previous nine Sessions – budgeting, payslips, credit, fraud, saving, and more. They then explore “next steps” in financial learning, including benefits systems, support schemes, and where to find trustworthy advice. A group discussion invites students to share their top three money lessons they’ll carry forward, encouraging peer learning and personal reflection. The session includes a choice between a short course review essay or facilitated group dialogue (or do both if you want!), helping students articulate how financial literacy will shape their future decisions. Myth-busting prompts challenge ideas like “I’ll figure out money when I’m older” or “Financial advice is only for adults.” The final reflection – “What’s one financial habit I want to build starting now?” – encourages commitment and confidence. By the end, students will leave with a toolkit of knowledge, values, and practical strategies to navigate their financial futures. This session blends review, empowerment, and forward planning.
